She is one of my coworkers and I've known her family for a long time. Went to school with her sister, played sports with them growing up, etc. For the past few years I've been house sitting for them when they go on vacation. Just happened to work out that her roomate was moving out at the same time I was looking to move into a new place.
And yeah, I wouldn't wanna move in with someone I didn't know at all, it'd be weird. This will be my first time out on my own. I've always commuted to school through my 3 years of college, so I've never even had a dorm.

It helps that she is 7 years older than me, so there's no chance of a relationship situation occurring. We're both very clean and enjoy our peace and quiet, so it should work out well for us. We're also both workaholics, so the only time we'll be there at the same time will be at night when we're sleeping. Haha

The anti gun thing is huge right now. I'm really sick of hearing the ar-15 debate though. For some reason people think that new bans will eliminate all of our problems... The only thing I wanna see us get rid of is the "no background checks at gun shows" rule. For law abiding people, I can't see how it would hurt us.
Hey rj, how many NRA members does it take to screw in a light bulb?

the funny thing is Columbine happened during the '94 assault rifle ban and the sandy hook shooting happened in ct which still has the assault rifle ban also school zones are gun free zones now tell me how more gun control will help when the laws that are there arn't doing any good?

I always thought I had no life due to work... this last month though, I realized I had nothing to complain about. NOW I have no life due to work. The owner of the company and his wife (AKA the boss/secretary/dispatcher/general manager/office people) have been away for a month. Typically this is a slower time of the year, but we are still very busy. Although I am not the oldest employee I have been with them the longest so they leave me in charge, along with still acting as a service tech (thank god not the only tech though). Sooo I just got home from work. I must say, I always kind of wondered what people do in offices. My guesses were... type stuff, email stuff, fax stuff.... but how much of that could there REALLY be to do? Well... apparently there is a metric tonne. D'OH! Just when I think its done, a new pile of work orders come in that have to be closed, bills sent out, invoices come in that need paid/filed, more work comes in, have to call out a guy from his dinner to go to a service call while I'm stuck in the office, the apprentice gets stumped on a service call and needs some pointers... I am SO glad I am not actually the boss. And I didn't even mention the phone going off at 2:30 in the morning (why 2:30? I don't understand, is that a universal time to wake up and realize your junk is broke down?). So its been a month now, working 12-16 hours a day 7 days a week, and haven't had a day off in all this time. Not christmas day, nor new years day. I think I'm starting to feel a little burned out. Yikes, obviously the boss should'nt be gone for so long, maybe he's training you to become the boss?

its not about the guns at IMO its about control if the good guy cant have guns then the government is free to do as they please Yah, people learn karate for self defense, not to attack people. (although some people are just DBs) Guns should be "trained" in the same way. You should'nt be able to purchase guns freely unless you learn the right way to use them. If you don't want to learn, you don't get to shoot. It should be a defensive weapon, not an offensive weapon. Just like in the military, I'm sure unless directed, soldiers are required to hold their fire until fired upon right? Then you can defend yourself. If there was an intruder in my house, I'd break out a pump action Shotty and make sure he hears the click. Make his pants turn brown too.

You know what grinds my gears (some times), our "What did you do to your versa today" thread. We should have another thread that's only specific to upgrades and not fill ups, or trips, and such. Don't hate me for it, just saying lol.
