Alright, so many of you already know me, but maybe you only know about the back end of my build...
I got my 2008 Versa S back in 2010. I bought her used with 17,000 miles. I was fine with her stock for awhile, but then I started to feel buyer's remorse, and I considered trading her in for a while even... Just when all seemed lost, I joined some forums! I started over on Nico, then swapped over to NVF, and now I'm here. The modding bug kicked in pretty quick. I started off with a new stereo and door speakers. Soon after, I got a sub. Then I upgraded the intake, the wheels, brake pads, sway bar, strut brace, interior redecoration, etc etc. The mod list is long.
Then in the fall of 2012, I was involved in a bad accident, one which should have left the car totaled. Depressed, I began searching for another car while I waited for my insurance adjuster figured out how much money I was gonna get. I had a few different cars in mind, but none of them felt the same.. I went on some test drives and everythign just felt... boring. I even considered getting another V, but it would just feel strange. Then, I got the call I had been waiting for.. They were fixing my car!! $9000 and a new drivers side unit-body later and I was back in business. The car has lost almost all of its resale value, so the only thing left to do is mod. Crazy mods. Pulling in parts from other cars, other manufacturers, I vowed to make it BETTER than before.
And so Frankencar was born.
