how long did it take you to do one wheel? how many spray cans did you have to use?

it took me a few hours to do one wheel because you have to wait in between each coat, and its about a can per wheel if you didn't do the drum (just the face) then it would take less dip.

How long do you have to wait till you can put wheels back on the car without damaging the new dip surface. I'm thinking of dipping my wheels but i don't have any spares to put on while I do em so need to know how long after the fact is it safe to put wheels back on. Thanks

you have to cover the lugs up if you dont it will tare the dip most people use quarters I used the spare lugs I had since quarter don't fit in my wheels. I'm not sure how long you would have to wait but at least 4 hours after the last coat, and I say that because on the can it sez it takes 4 hours fr the dip to dry but I think it would be best to let it set all day and over night just to be sure (IMO). I have some updated pics of the rims and they are DONE!!!

Looks good! The modern style rims, tow hook and yellow fogs keep it from looking too Batmobilish I should try the 'dip on wife's Altima cuz her snow rims are getting a bit aged. Keep up the good work, what's next?
