I am yet to understand people who have deductions done through their workplace owing tax at the end of the year. I used to do mine myself and would usually get a small refund (maybe a couple hundred) per year then a couple years ago I paid an accountant $35 to do my return and he got me thousands back. Needless to say I went back to that accountant and he is continuing to do well for me. Definitely look into it if you aren't already using one.
